Pinner Park Primary School came together to celebrate the rich diversity that makes our school community such a special place.

The idea for Pinner Park Goes Global was chosen and organised by our Smart School Council, who wanted to create an opportunity for children to celebrate their cultures, heritage and identities while also raising money for a worthwhile cause.
Throughout the day, children proudly shared aspects of their backgrounds, traditions, languages and family stories. Many children came to school wearing clothing that reflected their culture or heritage, creating a colourful and vibrant celebration of the many communities represented within our school.

Across the school, classes took time to explore and discuss the diversity within their own year groups, recognising both the differences and similarities that make each of us unique. The day provided valuable opportunities for children to learn from one another, develop their understanding of the world around them and celebrate the inclusive values that are so important to our school community.

We are incredibly proud of the respect, curiosity and enthusiasm shown by our children throughout the day. Their willingness to share, listen and learn from one another demonstrated exactly what makes Pinner Park such a welcoming and inclusive school.

As part of the event, the School Council also chose to support Cancer Research UK. We would like to thank everyone who made a donation and helped support this important cause. Donations remain open, and every contribution will help fund life-saving research and bring us closer to a world where more cancers can be successfully treated.

A huge thank you goes to our children, families and staff for embracing the spirit of the day and helping to make it such a success. Most of all, we would like to congratulate our Smart School Council, whose vision, planning and leadership made this wonderful event possible.

Together, we celebrated the diversity that makes our community stronger and demonstrated that, at Pinner Park, every child belongs.

Year 2 are on the move this week!

​Our pupils are enjoying scooter training sessions, learning essential road safety skills and how to travel safely and confidently in their local area.

Well done to our athletes who represented the school at the Harrow Quad Kids competition held at Bannisters Athletics Centre.

The children participated in four athletics events each, competing for the Pinner Park team.
