We are delighted to announce that Pinner Park Primary School has been awarded the prestigious Healthy Schools London Silver Award! This recognition celebrates our school’s commitment to improving the health and well-being of our pupils through targeted initiatives and a whole-school approach.

Our ongoing health priorities will focus on two key areas: oral health for our Early Years and Key Stage 1 pupils, and physical activity for Key Stage 2. These priorities were identified following a thorough needs analysis and feedback from pupils, parents, and staff.

Our efforts have already led to positive changes in pupil attitudes and behaviours, and we are committed to sustaining these improvements throughout the year.

Our continuing focus will include initiatives such as:
  • Hosting workshops to promote better dental hygiene.
  • Encouraging increased participation in physical activity through playground enhancements, structured playtimes, and after-school clubs
  • Increasing regular activities to encourage physical activity for all pupils.

Thank you goes to Miss Draghici, who coordinated this project and prepared our school for the award assessment.

We look forward to continuing our journey towards even greater achievements in health and well-being!
Stay tuned for updates as we work towards the Gold Award. Together, we can make a difference!
