GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations)
All organisations, including schools, have to comply with General Data Protection Regulations with a view to safeguarding people's personal information. GDPR placed extra duties on schools and other institutions which handle personal data. It means we must only collect information which is needed to perform our duties, and we must take steps to keep information safe and secure, only keeping hold of data as long as is necessary and disposing of information properly.
All Staff at Pinner Park Primary School take the Data Protection obligations very seriously and understand that it is important that we only store personal information in a secure way, in line with GDPR, and in a way that our parents, children and staff are happy with.
We have now held two full external GDPR audits and put in place the recommendations that were made. Specifically, we have developed the following policies which (with our Privacy Notices) set out what we do to keep your information safe. If you have any questions about how or why we collect or hold data that you feel are not answered within these documents, please don't hesitate to contact us.
