Ofsted, School Performance and Finance Information

Ofsted

The quality of teaching over time is outstanding. Teaching is typically lively and engaging and pupils respond very positively to teachers’ skilful questioning. Expectations are high and all pupils are pushed to do their very best and develop an ‘I can’ attitude to their learning."
Ofsted 2013
The reports for our previous Ofsted inspections can be found on the Pinner Park Primary page on the Ofsted website.

School Performance

The published data for Pinner Park Primary School can be found on the 'Find and Compare Schools in England' website.

2019 Statutory Results
The government will not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021 to 2022 academic year. They have archived data from the 2018 to 2019 academic year because they recognise that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.

Pupils take national curriculum assessments in year 6 at the end of KS2, when most pupils will reach age 11 by the end of the school year. Pupils take tests (commonly referred to as SATs) in reading, maths and grammar, punctuation and spelling (GPS) and receive a statutory teacher assessment (TA) in writing.

To reach the expected standard in all of reading, writing and maths (combined), a pupil must achieve a scaled score of 100 or more in reading and maths tests and an outcome of at least ‘reaching the expected standard’ in writing TA.

Finance Information

aPinner Park Primary School is a maintained community school.  Maintained schools are those that are funded and controlled by the local education authority (in our case, Harrow Council).    The Governing Board has a strategic role in the financial management of the school. Their key responsibilities include, setting financial priorities through the school development plan, 3 year financial plan and the annual budget. They also decide on how the school’s delegated budget should be spent in accordance with the school improvement plan and statutory curriculum requirement.

The government’s School Financial Benchmarking Service allows you to compare a school or trust’s income and expenditure with similar establishments in England.

You can view Pinner Park Primary School’s benchmarking information by clicking this link.  Please note that Pinner Park Primary School was formed in 2019 following the amalgamation of the Nursery, Infant and Junior Schools.  Finance information prior to 2019-20 refers to the Infant and Nursery School only.
