Pupils take national curriculum assessments in year 6 at the end of KS2, when most pupils will reach age 11 by the end of the school year. Pupils take tests (commonly referred to as SATs) in reading, maths and grammar, punctuation and spelling (GPS) and receive a statutory teacher assessment (TA) in writing.

To reach the expected standard in all of reading, writing and maths (combined), a pupil must achieve a scaled score of 100 or more in reading and maths tests and an outcome of at least ‘reaching the expected standard’ in writing TA.

Finance Information

Pinner Park Primary School is a maintained community school.  Maintained schools are those that are funded and controlled by the local education authority (in our case, Harrow Council).    The Governing Board has a strategic role in the financial management of the school. Their key responsibilities include, setting financial priorities through the school development plan, 3 year financial plan and the annual budget. They also decide on how the school’s delegated budget should be spent in accordance with the school improvement plan and statutory curriculum requirement.

The government’s School Financial Benchmarking Service allows you to compare a school or trust’s income and expenditure with similar establishments in England.

You can view Pinner Park Primary School’s benchmarking information by clicking this link.  Please note that Pinner Park Primary School was formed in 2019 following the amalgamation of the Nursery, Infant and Junior Schools.  Finance information prior to 2019-20 refers to the Infant and Nursery School only.

Maintained schools are required to publish salary information on any employee earning over £100,000 per annum (click here).  All staff in the school are paid in accordance with the School Teachers Pay & Conditions Document (STPD) or Harrow Council Terms & Conditions (support staff).  All salary levels are determined and reviewed annually by the Pay Panel of the Board of Governors.
