IntroductionAt Pinner Park Primary School, we teach Relationships, Health and Reproduction Education is an integral part of our Personal, Social, Health Education (PSHE).
Our PSHE programme is a comprehensive, carefully thought-through scheme of learning which brings consistency and progression to our children’s learning in this vital curriculum area. Government Guidance |
The Government wants all children to grow up healthy, happy, safe, and able to manage the challenges and opportunities of modern Britain. That is why all primary age children are now taught Relationships and Health Education as a compulsory part of the curriculum. These subjects are designed to equip your child with knowledge to make informed decisions about their wellbeing, health and relationships as well as preparing them for a successful adult life.
At Pinner Park we have always taught relationships, sex and health education as part of our PSHE and we continue to have flexibility to deliver the content in a way that is age and developmentally appropriate and sensitive to the needs of our pupils.

Our Scheme of Learning
Schools are required to provide relationships and health education to all primary age pupils. We already do this as part of our comprehensive PSHE programme.
We have planned a programme of relationships, sex and relationships education based on our current framework. This includes the 'PANTS' and 'Speak Out. Stay Safe' work which we have already shared with parents through newsletters.
We hope you find the documents below useful. They explain our approach to teaching RSHE at Pinner Park. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
