This assembly is on the topic of diversity, hope and discrimination. It is based on the life of Nelson Mandela, but also relates this to the issues facing our communities today, including the 'Black Lives Matters' campaign. We hope that this will be a good starting point for parents to discuss these matters with their children. If you would like some further resources to help your discussion, then CBBC Newsround is an excellent starting point. Please note that this assembly is aimed at children aged 7 - 11. |
