Longridge 2024 | Year 6 Residential Visit

Our Year 6 children are enjoying a week long visit to Longridge Activity Centre for a week full of outdoor and adventurous activities.
We'll try and update this post as often as possible with new photos.

Day 4

A great end to a fabulous week!

Day 3

Everyone slept well and it was a much quieter start to the day as the children have quickly adapted to life under canvas!   It's been another full day of activity with a great range of activities, delicious food (the children love the breakfasts), tidy tents (yes, really!) and visits from Mr Waldron and Mrs Sachania. They report that everyone's smiling, even the staff! 😃

Day 2

A bright and early start as the dawn chorus and beautiful sunrise acted as a wake up call - a little too early than we would have liked!   A wonderful day full of fabulous activities.   Lovely, sunny weather today.  The children dropped off to sleep quickly after a very full day.

Day 1

A very exciting day as the children settled into their new accommodation, became familiar with the site, and started the wide range of outdoor and adventurous activities.  Weather has mostly been great, and a horse chestnut tree provided shelter from a rain shower! The children went off to sleep well after a busy day!
