Playground Stars

During our lunchtimes, our staff team are always on the look out for children who are 'Playground Stars'. These are the children who are playing well, being a great friend, being polite and respectful, helping to tidy away, supporting others and being kind.
The lunchtime team can award 'stars' which are then transferred to a chart back in class. Each star gives one entry into our special raffle. Earlier in the year, children won some amazing prizes - toys, games, and even a scooter.
This time round, none of the prizes can be bought in a shop. The are 'Prizes beyond Price'. These included an extra playtime, an extra non-uniform day, getting to sit on the benches in assembly, and an ice-lolly with the headteacher!
