Our first half term was full of sporting activity with many children participating in sports clubs, and also representing the school at sporting events. On 3rd October we took a group of children to Harrow Leisure Centre to take part in a Harrow Schools Dodgeball competition. The children had a great time playing lots of schools every game was really exciting. The key stage 2 children have been playing on Tuesday lunchtime with Mrs Holland, everyone is welcome to join in. On 11th October a group of children and 3 sports leaders went to Aspire in Stanmore to take part in a Harrow schools Boccia tournament. This is a skill game where everyone tries to get their ball nearest to the white ball. The children did really well and scored lots of points and worked extremely well as a team. Boccia club is on Friday in the MUGA for key stage 2 children. On a very wet and windy Saturday morning we attended the Years 5 and 6 7-a-side football competition at Barnet FC at the Hive. We played all our games in our league and progressed to the semi-final where we lost 1-0 to West Lodge. The boys played some terrific football and the games were all very hard fought. Well done boys for giving up your Saturday morning to play.
