School is closed on Thursday 6 May, as the building is being used as a polling station for the local elections. In times gone past, families have decided how to spend the day. This year, due to the extraordinary times we are in, we want to provide the opportunity for remote and home learning. Each class will have a schedule for the day which will suggest the learning activities. These will be shared with the children today. Each class will have two, short live sessions so that we can touch base with them at the beginning and end of the day. All staff members will be in school all day. Year 1, Year 3 and Year 5: First Live Session: 08.45 - 9.15 Second Live Session: 2.15 - 2.45 Reception, Year 2, Year 4 and Year 6: First Live Session: 09.15 - 09.45 Second Live Session: 2.45 - 3.15 All live sessions will be through Microsoft Teams using the same links as during lockdown. The links are here: During the week beginning 3 May there will be the opportunity to meet with your child's teacher to discuss progress, strengths and opportunities for further development. We will hold these through Microsoft Teams. The booking system is now open (see message on SchoolPing). If you need support to make a booking please contact us through the school office. Below is a guide to using Microsoft Teams for the meeting with your child's teacher.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced school governor to make a valuable contribution to children’s education, opportunities and futures as the chair of our governing board. As an experienced governor, you will know that governing boards make significant decisions about schools to ensure they are successful for every pupil. Our governor volunteers are drawn from across the school’s community bringing different skills, experiences and perspectives to the table. Further information is available in the pack below. Please do get in touch with us if you have any questions about this opportunity.
Please access the draft policy and accompanying letter by clicking the document link below. We really appreciate your involvement in this consultation.
In recognition of World Book Day 2021, we've shared lots of 'Masked Reader' stories. Children watched the videos and tried to guess who was behind the mask. Some were really tricky so we gave a clue! Here are the answers:
We had two winners who guessed all the staff members correctly. Well done to everyone who took part!
